Encore:
  • Dance Again
The O2 World was the entertainer for the Dance Again World Tour 2012. Excellent sound-acoustics were provided there and made this concert really exclusive. There was one very sad thing, Hamburg was not in the mood for Lady Lopez and dancing, the venue was merely filled by less than 10.000 spectators.  Hey, you guys and girls you really missed a spectacle!
Stooshe from United-Kingdom were heating up as support. 3 pretty girls dressed in
American football and ice-hockey tricots presented some funky-disco-dance groove by songs like ‘Love me’. Nice to look at and for the listening pleasure, but nothing hyper-musically-spectacular. One of these typical girlie-teen-bands from one of these casting shows. The end-applause was anyway very complimentary for them.
Before the show started the stage was covered like a haute-couture fashion-design with the big JLO letters. When the curtain dropped as intro to the show a video with ‘Never Gonna Give Up` was presented and the male dancers were glamorous with their dance-ouverture together with two burlesque girls with fan-feather-boas. Some male were awaiting Jennifer Lopez on the highest stage-gallery. By a storm of applause she was risen to the stage by an elevator. What a high-light for the eyes. She wore a catsuit armed by silver sequins covered by a furry coat and cap.  When she was abandoning them she powered infintely starting by ‘Get Right’. By this glance it was no wonder why she climbed to No. 1 on The Forbes Celebrity 100 List. By her dancing all over the stage and levels she was demonstrating how fit she was and she did a cool job by her vocal-performance. On top an inferno of pyros started, metres high magnesium fire-fountains in the back for minutes, balls and flashes of explosions at the light-cross-beams and  on the second stage-ground. Vow… Her band members were celebrating their dance-sound on special levels. Everything was hyper-professional by show-arrangement, but always very vivid. And Jennifer showed no arrogance towards her fans, she was joking and chatting with them as she knew them as friends for years, very simpatico. Her hit ‘Waiting For Tonight’ was terminating the first part of the gig which was entitled “Old Hollywood Glamour”. The whole performance was in the style of good-ole revues like the ones from The Lido or Moulin Rouge cabarets.  By ‘Laboutins’ she started the second sequel “Back To The Bronx”. Urban gansta-sounds with cool raps were spicing up the music. The most interesting show-part followed by “Funky And Love” presenting a little bit Hollywood film-flair, combined by show-elements like they were adored by Michael Jackson and some rhythms like the famous Motown sound. Party flair was spread by the so called final part. Jlo was the perfect animator for her supporters and they followed her call to ‘Let’s Get Loud’. It was such a loud-blast that she had to grant an encore by ‘Dance Again’ as final song by herself. By triumph she left the stage. Her band presented their skills by some finest instrumental melodies till dawn… Everybody grooved home by satisfaction. Our thanks to Inga Faelz of RIVER CONCERTS for the accreditation.
